Our credentials
In a career spanning over two decades, Event Operandi's founding director, Fiona Paterson, has established a successful track record for delivering operational excellence in the B2B events market. Prior to launching Event Operandi, Fiona worked both agency and corporate side, including 14 years as Group Head of Event Operations at Incisive Media where she led a team of 25 overseeing global operations for 400+ events.
With extensive experience of managing large and diverse event portfolios globally, Fiona offers a wealth of event management knowledge. Her key areas of expertise include:
• Venue acquisition, negotiation and contract management
• Supplier procurement & management, including outsourcing and tendering projects
• Full budget management & reporting
• Staff recruitment, training, development and incentive programmes
• Implementation of best practice / smart working initiatives
• Management of multi-stakeholder engagement and contract fulfilment
• Extensive event portfolio planning
• Integration and management of event & business travel programmes
